Smart Fish
Smart-home hubs like Alexa are designed to fit seamlessly into daily life, but this project aimed to create a unique, personal connection between hub and owner, truly making it a part of the home.
Tech Meets Pet
Linking animals to the smart home makes the user anthropomorphise and therefore create a bond with their home's AI system. The design of the Smart Fish Tank needed to balance this homely yet modern narrative.
The Smart Fish Tank
The final product is a smart hub which co-exists with a pet fish. The hub's usefulness depends on how well looked after the fish is, creating a symbiotic relationship between pet, hub and owner.
